Meet our limited-edition race build, created for competitive riders around the latest generation of the CX-One carbon platform - lightweight, fast and ready to race hard in all conditions. With this new generation, we focused not only on outright performance but also on ensuring the bike is built to handle a full season of hard racing and training. We followed the direction modern cyclocross is heading and prepared the frame for the seasons ahead, with a focus on compatibility and day-to-day serviceability. The UDH rear derailleur hanger, improved access to the cable routing inside the carbon fork and threaded BSA bottom bracket insert are all part of that approach.

We didn’t cut corners on sizing either. Geometry and component selection were developed together with a bike fitter to maintain the right position, balanced cockpit proportions and ultimately, full control of the bike, even in smaller sizes. This build is made with racers in mind, which is why the CX-One gets a top-level component package. Gear selection comes from SRAM Force AXS E1 2x12, with a 46/33T crankset and 10-36T cassette. The two-chainring setup combines a wide gear range with smoother gear changes: the big ring lets you keep the pace high on fast sections, while the smaller ring gives you the range to stay on top of steep climbs. The 13-tooth difference between the chainrings also helps keep your cadence smooth as you move between them. It’s a setup with a strong track record in race-focused cyclocross, especially on courses where a single lap can go from all-out speed to demanding climbs in no time.

The new Obsidian Flame energy colorway, our hand-built wheels featuring Shot Carbon rims and the latest Accent TGR V2 hubs with a ratchet system, proven Accent EXE components, and Vittoria Terreno Mix G2.0 700x33C tyres come together in a cohesive build ready for whatever the course throws at you. At just 8.06 kg in size M, this CX delivers instant acceleration and stays composed when the course gets technical.

The XS size was designed to give younger and shorter riders a bike that retains the right proportions and the same confident handling. UCI homologation ensures that the CX-One Carbon was developed to meet the demands of high-level racing and makes the platform eligible for official UCI events.

Better protection and easier servicing

The cables are now routed internally inside full-length housing, providing better protection against water, mud and dirt. The threaded BSA insert features enlarged service access ports, providing direct access to the internal cable routing and simplifying cable installation and future servicing.

In cyclocross, race pace doesn’t stop when you hit the pits. After a muddy lap, the bike needs to be cleaned, checked and ready for the next changeout in no time. The axle threads directly into the fork, removing the need for a separate nut - so there’s one less loose part to deal with and one less thing to keep track of when the clock is running.

UDH for simpler service and more setup options

The UDH standard makes spare parts easier to deal with. Instead of hunting for a derailleur hanger made specifically for one frame generation, you get a standardised solution that is easier to source - even when you’re travelling to a race weekend. It also gives you more freedom when choosing, changing or upgrading your drivetrain setup with the newest technologies.

More clearance for mud and wider tire setups
More clearance for mud and wider tire setups

Clearance for tires up to 700x40C means more than simply fitting wider rubber. With a typical CX setup, the extra space around the tire helps keep mud and grass from quickly building up between the tire, frame and fork. And when the CX season is over, that same clearance gives you room to build a fast, lightweight gravel bike or a comfortable road setup with 38C slicks.

The CX-One is a frameset developed together with Bartosz Mikler - one of Poland’s leading cyclocross riders. From there, the platform went straight into the real-world test lab: training and racing with riders from teams including Dominika Włodarczyk and athletes from MAT ATOM Deweloper Wrocław, VeloTalent Cycling Team, UKS Krupiński Suszec and Victoria Jarocin. Among them were Alicja Matuła, Malwina Mul and Ksawier Garnek, who represented Poland in the national team at the World Championships.
